Helping Those Self-Isolating

In these difficult times of self-isolation two groups on Camberwell Grove have come forward to offer support on errands, food shopping and telephone befriending:

  • The Grove Group of Volunteers, contact on zeroseven546 004130, text or WhatsApp, to seek help or join as a volunteer, or Facebook: "Southwark Mutual Aid Covid 19"
  • Francesca & Will, contact on zeroseven769 112177, again text or WhatsApp to seek or offer help, or Facebook "Camberwell Grove Neighbours" to keep in touch

Always follow the social distancing rules, 2m minimum separation and wash hands regularly.

The Camberwell Society was formed in 1970 and is the recognised amenity society for those living, working or interested in Camberwell.

The Society’s objectives, as defined by our constitution, are: to stimulate public interest in Camberwell, to promote high standards of planning and architecture in Camberwell, and to secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest in Camberwell.

We are a charity and raise money for local charities. In the past we have raised money for Southside Rehabilitation Association, St Giles Trust, Cambridge House, the Camberwell Community Choir, the Hollington Youth Centre and the Camberwell Arts Festival
