The Camberwell Society

Society for those living, working or interested in Camberwell

We Did It!!!

Thank you to everyone who helped to make this happen, but let's not stop there, the more that we can raise the more we can do to put Camberwell forward as the place. So keep going with donations and let's try to do Church St too, we have until Aug 12th. Time to get busy!

Designs for the banners will be worked up following finalisation of the new Camberwell brand graphics. Do come to the Camberwell Fair on the green on Saturday 31st August and visit the stall of our friends the SE5 Forum where you will be able to see and comment on the draft branding.

Banners will be manufactured and then installed in November. Contributors can expect to see copies of the new Camberwell Travel Guide arriving in their inboxes at around the same time.

Well done Camberwell.

The Camberwell Society was formed in 1970 and is the recognised amenity society for those living, working or interested in Camberwell.

The Society’s objectives, as defined by our constitution, are: to stimulate public interest in Camberwell, to promote high standards of planning and architecture in Camberwell, and to secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest in Camberwell.

We are a charity and raise money for local charities. In the past we have raised money for Southside Rehabilitation Association, St Giles Trust, Cambridge House, the Camberwell Community Choir, the Hollington Youth Centre and the Camberwell Arts Festival
