WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY - Thursday 10th October Free Event at ORTUS

Thursday 10th October is World Mental Health Day. The Maudsley Charity is holding a drop in day at ORTUS with workshops, information stalls and film screenings throughout the day from 11:00am to 7:30pm. You can see the full programme here. The daytime events are free drop in but the evening showing of Irene's Ghost (a son’s moving journey to understand his mother’s postpartum psychosis) and subsequent panel discussion requires a ticket. Tickets are also free and can be found at Eventbright here

Come along and find out more about the challenges of mental health and support the work of the Maudsley Charity who provide grants to mental health projects in the area.

The Camberwell Society was formed in 1970 and is the recognised amenity society for those living, working or interested in Camberwell.

The Society’s objectives, as defined by our constitution, are: to stimulate public interest in Camberwell, to promote high standards of planning and architecture in Camberwell, and to secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest in Camberwell.

We are a charity and raise money for local charities. In the past we have raised money for Southside Rehabilitation Association, St Giles Trust, Cambridge House, the Camberwell Community Choir, the Hollington Youth Centre and the Camberwell Arts Festival
