Conversion of part of an existing place of worship to residential use
(C3), Demolition of remainder and construction of new place of worship
to the R/O Coldharbour Lane.
There is a fairly grim asbestos shed looking hall at the back at present
and the rest of the site area gravelled for parking accessed off
Padfield Road.
The new single storey building fills much more of the site and no
parking. The building is a simple single storey building with a shallow
pitched roof to a central ridge not much higher to ridge that the
present building and same eaves height. The building will be closer on
the site to the backs of houses 2a-10 Cambria Road built in recent years
with a 1.8 timber rear fence. The additional impact would be minimal and
possibly an improved aspect compared to the present building and cars
parked.
