Construction of a three-storey four-bedroom house including the creation
of off-street parking
COMMENT:
This application appears to show topographical levels inaccurately, and
does not show the design in the context of the adjacent houses in both
Beaulieu Close and The Hamlet.
The design of the property is not in accord with the adjacent properties
which all exhibit strong horizontal glazing typical of the 1960s/70s
period they were built in. If built it would break up the existing
rhythm and character of the area.
It has the appearance of part of a terrace yet it stands alone, and has
two large walls which appear overpowering as the brickwork is unrelieved
with any openings or relief.
