Construction of additional floor to existing one bedroom flat to create
a 2 bedroom flat.
Comment: It is not possible to judge this application on the information
provided. There are no drawings or photos showing the context of the
building which makes it impossible to judge whether or not the scale of
the proposed extra floor is appropriate for the street.
There are clearly problems with the layout of the ground floor flat —
can the rear rooms really have no windows? There is evidently no amenity
space attached to either flat, although the second floor extension
should give an opportunity to create some.
The Camberwell Society would like more information before coming to a
conclusion.
