Addition of one and a half floors to existing 5 storey building to
create an additional three bed self-contained residential unit at roof
level.
This is a simple glass box added to the existing dark grey brick
building of recent years, around a small plant room already at that
level. The proposed addition is inset from the edges.
This would hardly be noticed. The building, Thistle Court, is set away
from others, which are mainly blocks of flats. On the other side of
Lowth Road three large housing blocks are eight storey; others nearby
are six storey.
