4 applications covering Hyde Housing Flats in Havil Street SE5 7RS to
remove all existing windows to all elevations and to replace all windows
with new UPVC double glazed windows to match existing styles and opening
sizes. To replace all main entrance doors with new powder coated
aluminium doors.
The Camberwell Society objects to the proposal to replace timber windows
with upvc. This is an unsustainable solution. The society would support
the replacement of the windows with new timber windows of a higher
thermal performance. The Society has no objection to the use of Powder
coated Aluminium to the doors.
