Construction of a single-storey rear extension, a rear dormer extension
and a roof terrace, and the replacement of windows throughout.
The proposal is a sensible reordering of the property on this shallow
depth site, the same as all adjoining properties in this terrace.
The proposals make sense of the present muddled layout. A widening of
the existing rear single storey outrigger allows a sensible kitchen
layout.
The rear roof slope becomes part dormer, part inset roof terrace, which
sensibly keeps the proposed terrace private from adjoining properties.
The terrace is timber screened to the rear, so not able to overlook
properties to the rear (West) in Crofton Road.
