New Station Partnership with Denmark Hill - the Station for Camberwell

Nick Mair (Chair of the Camberwell Society) today signed the Station Partnership with Govia Thameslink. When concluded this will make funds available for station improvements and allow volunteer teams to help the visual image of the station with art displays, jungle management, plantings and litter removal. A massive thanks to Jenny Agutter, Florence Eshalomi (GLA), Louis Williams the station manager and all who have made this possible.

Nick says about the Partnership:

"We want to encourage visitors to use local businesses and discover our fascinating heritage. Our volunteer Rubbish Raiders will tackle the litter outside the station and make it more welcoming"

In the meantime you will shortly see floor vinyls appearing at the station encouraging visitors to experience Camberwell. This is part of the Camberwell Identity programme of which exciting developmnts are coming, dont miss the stall at Camberwell Fair on the Green on Saturday 31st August.
