Shop Local - Made in Camberwell Saturday 30th November

Once again it is your chance to support local crafts and businesses. The Made in Camberwell Markets are back this Saturday (30th Nov). You can find stalls at Butterfly Walk, The Joiners Arms, the Tiger, and the Church St Hotel. From 12 to 5pm. See here for more details and here for a map and children's activities.

Christmas Party

The Camberwell Society Christmas Party is on Monday 2nd December upstairs at the Crooked Well. It starts at 7:30. Entry £10 which includes one drink. Members and their guests only, new members may join on the door.

This year we are adding a charity auction of an amazing variety of offers from the members of the executive committee from offers of personal tuition, through a Georgian dining experience, a secluded open air hot tub session to a weekend break in a magnificently positioned farmhouse on Bodmin Moor. There are loads of other items on offer so bring your credit card and get happy! It’s all for charity!

The Camberwell Society was formed in 1970 and is the recognised amenity society for those living, working or interested in Camberwell.

The Society’s objectives, as defined by our constitution, are: to stimulate public interest in Camberwell, to promote high standards of planning and architecture in Camberwell, and to secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest in Camberwell.

We are a charity and raise money for local charities. In the past we have raised money for Southside Rehabilitation Association, St Giles Trust, Cambridge House, the CamberwellCommunity Choir, the HollingtonYouth Centre and the Camberwell Arts Festival
