The Camberwell Society

Society for those living, working or interested in Camberwell

Please Endorse our Theme for the Art Piece

https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/29LGYMJ Or your can use the code on the boards up at the station.

We have chosen "Health and Wellbeing" as the theme for the art piece at the station's new entrance. We think this fits well as the entrance is designed to serve passengers visiting or working at the hospitals. We have already received endorsements from NetworkRail, Govia, King's College Hospital and Dulwich College (who have a special link with the hospital).

We would welcome your support. The more "likes" we get the more weight we have when applying for funding. Health and Wellbeing is a broad subject and you might like to think if there is a strand you would like to see added to the artists' brief. The survey is open until 6 June. The artists' brief will be launched at Camberwell Arts Festival (on-line) 13-21 June

The Camberwell Society was formed in 1970 and is the recognised amenity society for those living, working or interested in Camberwell.

The Society’s objectives, as defined by our constitution, are: to stimulate public interest in Camberwell, to promote high standards of planning and architecture in Camberwell, and to secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest in Camberwell.

We are a charity and raise money for local charities. In the past we have raised money for Southside Rehabilitation Association, St Giles Trust, Cambridge House, the CamberwellCommunity Choir, the HollingtonYouth Centre and the Camberwell Arts Festival
