Denmark Hill Station Art Trail won an award for Station Creatives from Community Rail in March 2024. The award came as recognition for hard work by members of The Camberwell Society. The work started in late 2020 when the Society agreed a licence to tend disused areas of the station.
Enormous amounts of rubbish have been cleared, plantings have been made, mechanical curiosities installed and fascinating items created from found objects.
