The History at the Heart of Camberwell

Come and hear Professor Rosemary Hill talk about the history and architecture of St Giles Church and its importance in the community of Camberwell over the last century and a half. Rosemary is a local resident and prize-winning author of God’s Architect, a biography of A W N Pugin. She is Vice President of the Victorian Society and a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. Rosemary’s talk will discuss the history of the building and consider what it tells us about the Victorians and their legacy today. Get your tickets early as numbers are limited.
