The Camberwell Society was established to fight off attempts to destroy the fabric of our Georgian streets. Almost six decades later our purpose has changed and evolved to include roles in a far wider aspect of community life. We foster engagement, celebrate local heritage and support cultural and social initiatives, bringing residents together through events, discussions, and environmental projects.
We advocate for preserving architectural landmarks while encouraging sustainable development, providing a platform for local voices to be heard on issues affecting the neighbourhood. By promoting collaboration and inclusivity, we help build a vibrant, connected community that values the past while actively shaping the future.
